NEWS

INFORMATION REQUIRED
Have you had a problem with your Land Rover/Range Rover vehicle while on a trip and found an 'angel' who could do repairs to get you going?
I am compiling a register of businesses throughout Australia who can repair Land Rover products.  Many of us travel through across the country and other States, and if something happens to the vehicle where do we turn?  I would appreciate names and addresses and phone numbers where known of these businesses from Coffs to Cunnunura, from Googs to Gladstone, from  the Alice to Arkaroola .  It's not just the big dealers, but the independents in small country towns who can help with older vehicles.

Thanks in advance and ideally I would like the info before April to catch the winter touring season.

_Frampton Knives
A Landie never dies
It metamorphosis into something new
www.framptonknives.com.au

Land Rover springs and knives are possibly a surprising relationship but Lionel in Broome has been handcrafting top quality knives for over 20 year and according to him the best still for his knives is from LAND ROVER leaf springs from around 1968.
In addition to knives designed for the bush and home, Frampton Handcrafted Knives also produces a large range of other goods including axes, powder horns, rum horns, belts, gun holsters and gun leather.

Lionel is always looking for Land Rover leaf springs for his knives, so if you have some old springs lying around, email: lionel@framptonknives.com.au

OUR LAST TRIP
Cheese and Wine Safari
28th February 2012
A relaxed day where kids and adults enjoyed the Yungaburra Markets in the morning, followed by GALLO Dairy. We all got our snacks at the Dairy, and after lunch we visited the Mt. UNCLE Distillery to try some digestives.
Of course we needed a coffee afterwords so we headed for SKYBURY and to finish off the day we visited the
GOLDEN DROP mango winery.

No humans where injured in this event.

About Our Club
The club was formed by a group of Land Rover enthusiasts who first met in May 2003, the club becoming an official body in July of that year.
Since then the club has enjoyed a
variety of successful trips and has a core of enthusiastic and supportive members.

Club trips take place monthly and range from social day trips to 3 & 4 day expeditions.
It is important to note
that the club constitution states, only Land Rover vehicles may be driven on club trips.

Club Aims

To promote fellowship, technical knowledge, an understanding of the need for environmental conservation and support four wheel touring
as a responsible and
legitimate
family recreational activity.
